About Our Organization

The Calgary Single Mothers Society (CSMS) is dedicated to supporting single mothers, South Asian women, and newcomer families by providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and community-driven services.

We work to reduce barriers, build resilience, and create safe spaces where women and families can access support, connect with one another, and strengthen their well-being. Our programs focus on mental health and wellness, family and youth support, financial empowerment, legal and immigration navigation, education, advocacy, and community engagement.

As a volunteer-based organization, CSMS is grounded in lived experience and powered by community support. We believe in dignity, inclusion, and empowerment, and we strive to ensure that every woman and family we serve feels seen, heard, and supported.

Through collaboration with community partners and a deep commitment to equity and care, the Calgary Single Mothers Society continues to work toward stronger families and more inclusive communities.
