Backpack & Resource Drive

The Calgary Single Mothers Society hosts an annual Backpack and Resource Drive tosupport single mothers and families in need as they prepare for the school year.Through this initiative, we distribute backpacks and essential school supplies tochildren, helping ease the financial burden on mothers and ensuring students start theyear feeling confident and prepared.

In addition to school supplies, the drive connects mothers with helpful resources and community supports, offering practical assistance during a critical time for families. This event reflects our commitment to reducing barriers, supporting education, and standing along side families when they need it most.
