Each year, the Calgary Single Mothers Society celebrates Mother’s Day with a joyfulHigh Tea (“Par-Tea”) event that brings women and single mothers together with theirchildren for an afternoon of connection, laughter, and appreciation.

This family-friendly celebration creates a welcoming space where mothers and childrencan enjoy quality time together, participate in fun and meaningful activities, and buildconnections with other families in the community. The event encourages networking, shared experiences, and moments of joy that strengthen bonds between mothers and their children.

A special highlight of the Par-Tea is our Super Mom Awards and gifts, where single mothers are nominated by their loved ones—preferably their children. These nominations are especially meaningful, as single mothers often sacrifice tirelessly for their children and deeply long to be seen and appreciated by the very ones they are striving to give a better life to.

The Mother’s Day Par-Tea is a celebration of pride, love, fun, andtogetherness—honouring the strength of mothers, the voices of children, and the beautyof community.
